Tacoma, Washington is located at the base of scenic Puget Sound, some 32 miles south of Seattle and 31 miles north of the state capital, Olympia. Flanked by vistas of the Olympic Peninsula and Mount Rainier, and conveniently positioned just south of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, Tacoma is considered one of the Northwest's most livable cities.

Tacoma's three unique museums, The Washington State History Museum, the Tacoma Art Museum and the Museum of Glass can all be found on Tacoma's waterfront. The nearby Chihuly Bridge of Glass and Union Station, which showcases unique blown glass art, are also a must-see.
